HOW TO MAKE A CHARACTER ON PRIVEE AI
Creating characters is a big part of the game and our app provides you with all the tools you need to craft wonderful and entertaining AI Characters.
However, creating a good character require some care, but do not worry we're to share our expertise with you!
GETTING STARTED
To get started with AI Characters creation on Privee AI, you'll need to visit our Character Creation Studio
As for any other thing in life the best approach is to get started with some theory before moving into action. Luckily, you won't need to read any long and boring manual this time.
What we recommend is to browse our community library that is accessible from our main menu.
The library gives you the chance to explore different characters and read their definition prompt. By doing so you'll get an idea of what it takes to write a good prompt, how you can define different personalities and how you can put in there instructions for the character.
Having an idea of that will make the next part way easier to understand.
HOW A CHARACTER IS MADE:
A character is basically composed of three parts:
- PUBLIC APPEARENCE:
It consists in everything you can see of a character on our app: the name, the description, the tags and the bio. The most important thing to know is that public appearence does not affect the character's behaviour. The character is not aware of anything that is in there, its personality will be defined elsewhere.
- PICTURE:
The main picture can be uploaded or generated in the character studio according to your requests.
- DEFINITION PROMPT:
That is the core of a character because this part will set who the character is and how it will behave. It is composed of different sections: personality (main prompt), scenario, example dialogues and first message.

PERSONALITY: in this part you have to define who the character is. Include all the details: its name, its age, its physical appearence, its temperament and any other detail you want. The more details you add the better. Make sure to include a physical description because the character is not aware of what you put in the description for images.

SCENARIO: this field is optional and you can leave it blank, use it if you want to describe a particular scene or situation. A good practice is to keep personality and scenario divided, so that you'll be able to easily change the second one without affecting the other. You'll be able to change it if it's no more needed.

EXAMPLE DIALOGUES: This is probably the most important part. Example dialougues needs to provide an example of how the character behaves and speaks. We recommend to use {{user}}: & {{char}}: synthax with {{user}} talking first.

FIRST MESSAGE: This field is optional and it will be the opening sentence of the chat.
IMPORTANT: Every part of the character can be upated in any moment. It is very unlikely that you'll obtain a good character with a single shot. What we recommend is to creat it, test it and correct the different parts of the definition prompt until the result is satisfactory.
THE CHARACTER STUDIO
Our character studio is designed to guide you through the different steps in a logical order.
You have two options:

Simplified Editor: Easy and time saving. You can craft a character by simply clicking on pre-made options and at the end you will obtain a perfectly functioning character. You can always edit the parts you don't like to meet your requirements.

Advanced Editor: Here you'll be able to start from scratch and write every single part of your character. This is the better option for expert users or for those who wants to experiment with new things and styles.
