Get started with the fundamentals of Privee AI

GET STARTED WITH PRIVEE AI

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

• Model selector: click on the button to switch to a different language model. Language models differ both in terms of pricing and capabalities. The numbers next to the name (8B, 70B, 120B etc.) express the size of the model and provides a rough measure of its capabilities.

• Reset Button: That button will delete all the messages in the thread and reset the current chat. It will not be possible to retrieve the deleted messages after that, so use it only when you are ready to do so.

• Settings: Click it and you'll find a new menu. With different options inside.

CHAT SETTINGS

• Memory Usage: It is just a counter that tells you how much of the model's context window is in use. Think of the context as the amount of information that each model can hold. It varies for each language model, Privee 70b and 120b have a larger context, that means they can hold a larger amount of information that corresponds to a better memory.
• Save Chat Next to the icon "Chats" there is a selector. You'll be able to save your chats and get back a second time using this function. If it's your first chat with a character the story will be named "Main". To learn more about saving stories, you can read our guide on "How to Save Chats".
• Non Verbal Dialogue: You can decide to deactivate non-verbal dialogues in the chats to make your interactions closer to a chat with a real human being. Just switch the selector to turn them off or on as you like.
• Short Response: Sometimes our bots can be quite talkative, use this option to force them to answer using less words and obtain a more human-like dialogue.
• Persona Settings: This is an interesting feature that allows you to provide information about yourself to the character. To learn more about Personase you can read our dedicated guide.
• Voice: Thuis is a premium feature for our Pai+ Subscribers. From this menu you can customize the voice of the character you are chatting with. To learn more about voices you can make reference to this guide.

MANAGE MESSAGES:

• Copy: You can copy the text.

• Edit: This option will let you modify the character's reply to meet your tastes. Editing messages is free.

• Reply: You can use this function to reply to an older message, making sure the bot understands what part of the story you were talking about. It can help obtaining a more precise answer and it is particularly useful with long chats.

• Pin: You can pin a message so that the bot will permanently have it in its memory. Normally a bot hold in its memory a certain amount of messages starting from the most recent. Pinning a message will avoid that message to be replaced by others. We recommend using it to pin instructions or specific events.

• Dislike: Let us know when a message has something wrong, we can use that to improve the quality of our chats over time.

• Rewind: You can go back to the previous pair of messages.

• Delete: Will delete the message from the chat. We recommend doing this only on old messages to save memory space or in those cases where your message has some problem (i.e. incomplete, non intended). In all the other cases it is better to proceed with deleting or regenerating a message. Deleting messages is free, but you'll have to generate a new message to keep the chat going.

• Report: AI Sometimes generates contents that may result non-appropriate. Use that button to report any content that you believe should not be generated.
