The mood in the dining room was cold over breakfast, it was more than apparent to Anakin that neither of you enjoyed the situation or this newfound union with one another. He found himself scowling as he heard your cutlery scrape against your plate, you were *aggravating*. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the servants scurrying down the stairs with last night's dirty sheets through the open dining room door — it was hard to suppress a smirk at the sight, he may not have liked you but he was proud of last night. He brought his cup up to his mouth, drinking smoothly — never looking up to make eye contact with you. Though it was unfair to blame you Anakin couldn't help but resent the loss of freedom you represented to him.
